Omega presents upgraded and richly bejeweled Constellation
Omega continues to present new releases. The latest is an upgrade of the classic Constellation model. The clearest change is that the watch has grown to 36 mm, and in the new packaging three new colourways are presented. All fitted with a sunburst dial and a diamond-set glass ring. A nice upgrade, we think at Eqotime, and we have of course taken a quick look.
Omega continues to present news. Latest out is an upgrade of the classic model Constellation. A nice upgrade we think at Eqotime and we have of course taken a quick look.
New Constellation thus comes with 36 mm case and in three new colourways on the dial; burgundy, blue and brown. All with a set glass ring. In this case the setting consists of 38 diamonds at 0.92ct which feels really nice in a luxurious way. The burgundy-coloured version has a glass ring in steel while the blue and the brown variant have glass rings in 18k yellow gold and 18k Sedna gold respectively. They also have diamonds as indexes on the dial. The date is placed at 6 o'clock and inside spins Omega's METAS-certified calibre 8800. The back is of glass and the three variants come on well-matched leather straps.
At present the list price is unknown, but regardless of that the editorial team thinks it's a nice update of a nice model. 36 mm case feels modern and even though we realize that this is a women's model, the slightly larger case might perhaps, perhaps even attract some brave man who likes tasteful bling…
