Omega celebrates James Bond Day with the launch of Timeless Adversaries, pitting two new Seamaster Diver 300M watches against each other. One is blue and represents James Bond and 007, while the other comes in black and evokes the darker side of the Bond universe and the agent's classic adversaries.

It is a different approach from Omega, which this time does not settle for launching just another 007 watch. Instead, the entire presentation is based on perhaps the most important dynamic in the Bond films: the hero and the villain. The two watches are clearly related, but use color, symbols, and details to represent each side.
Bond in Blue
The blue model is the most classic of the two and clearly draws on the Seamaster aesthetic that has followed James Bond since the 1990s.
The starting point is the 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M, with a stainless steel case and Omega's signature blue color scheme. The blue aluminum dial features a wave pattern and is combined with the characteristic skeletonized hands and applied indices.
The bezel also differs from a standard Diver 300M. Here, Grade 5 titanium is used with a laser-engraved diving scale in relief. The watch comes on a brushed stainless steel mesh strap, a solution that in recent years has become strongly associated with Omega's Bond models.
It is a modern Seamaster, but at the same time a clear nod to the blue Diver 300M worn by Pierce Brosnan when Omega first appeared on James Bond's wrist in GoldenEye in 1995.
SPECTRE in Black
On the other side stands the black model, which represents SPECTRE, the criminal organization that for decades has been one of James Bond's greatest adversaries. The organization is led in the Bond universe primarily by Ernst Stavro Blofeld and is recognizable by its characteristic octopus symbol.
The black Seamaster Diver 300M takes on a significantly darker look than the Bond model, with a black dial and a black ceramic bezel. However, we find perhaps the most important detail on the back. Through the sapphire crystal, the SPECTRE octopus logo can be seen integrated into the rotor, making the organization's symbol part of the movement itself.
It is also here that the name Timeless Adversaries takes on its clearest meaning. Omega pits Bond and SPECTRE against each other for the first time through two Seamaster watches. The blue model represents agent 007, while the black one represents the organization that has repeatedly tried to defeat him.
The approach is both playful and historically well-rooted. SPECTRE was introduced as early as Ian Fleming's Bond world and has played a central role in films such as Dr. No, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, and, during the Daniel Craig era, Spectre from 2015 and No Time to Die from 2021. Thus, the black model is not just another Bond watch, but a Seamaster dedicated to his most classic enemy.
A Seamaster at Heart
Beneath the cinematic framing, it is still a Seamaster Diver 300M. The size is 42 mm and the construction follows the modern generation of the model, with 300 meters of water resistance and sapphire crystal.
Inside is Omega's automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, a METAS-certified movement with approximately 55 hours of power reserve. The fact that Omega uses the 8806 also means that the date window disappears, giving the models a clean and symmetrical dial.
So it is not just logos and Bond references that have been added to an existing watch. Omega has worked with materials, colors, and details to create two models with different identities within the same basic construction.
Omega and Bond – More Than 30 Years Together
The relationship between Omega and James Bond began in 1995 with GoldenEye. Pierce Brosnan wore a blue Seamaster Professional Diver 300M then, and since then Omega has been a constant part of the Bond universe.
During the Daniel Craig era, the collaboration became even clearer. In Casino Royale from 2006, Bond wore both the Seamaster Diver 300M and Planet Ocean, and later films have introduced several models that today are among Omega's most notable modern special editions. In Spectre, Craig wore, among others, the Seamaster 300 SPECTRE Limited Edition, and ahead of No Time to Die, he himself was involved in the development of the lightweight Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition in titanium. In 2026, the relationship has also continued through 007 First Light, where Omega presented another Seamaster linked to the new Bond game.
With Timeless Adversaries, Omega now takes the concept a step further. Instead of just asking which watch James Bond would wear, attention is also turned to the other half of the story of the adversary. And perhaps that is exactly why this launch stands out among the many Bond models Omega has presented over the years. Here, for the first time, 007 faces serious competition on the wrist.
