Novelties from TAG Heuer at LVMH Watch Week 2023

TAG Heuer is releasing a few interesting novelties during LVMH Watch Week in Singapore and Eqotime takes a closer look!
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 60th Anniversary Edition
One watch that turns 60 years old this year is TAG Heuer's legendary chronograph Carrera. Last year we did a deep dive into the model's history, which you can read more about here.
This year's Carrera is clearly inspired by its own history and this year's novelty is clearly inspired by the Heuer 2447 SN with a so-called ”panda” dial. This is the first, but probably not the last, novelty we will see from TAG Heuer's Carrera series.
The biggest difference compared with the predecessor is the size, the Carrera Chronograph 60th Anniversary Edition measures 39mm compared with the original's 36mm. Inside the watch ticks Heuer's chronograph calibre Heuer 02, which means a column wheel and 80h power reserve. A good-looking chronograph in vintage style with subtle upgrades. The editorial team likes it!
The watch is limited to 600 examples with a list price of 81,550kr.
TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronometer
Another model that is well known among Heuer enthusiasts is the Monza. A really cool and modern interpretation in a carbon fibre case with a skeletonised dial.
It is sporty as few are and has blue and red details that marry nicely with the black case. Inside ticks here too the chronograph movement Heuer 02.
The list price for the model is 152,950 kronor.
TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph
An interesting new Aquaracer in titanium that is driven by their Solargraph movement. Just as the name gives away, the watch's quartz movement is charged up by the sun and only 2 minutes of sunlight are needed to ensure a whole day of running. 20 hours of sunlight charges the watch up enough for 6 months of running without any further exposure to sunlight, solid!
The titanium case measures 40mm, which gives the watch a sporty appearance, and it looks like a really pleasant ”beater”.
The list price for the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph is 34,000 kronor.
