Third generation connected watch from Louis Vuitton

The fashion house Louis Vuitton is working on with its range of watches. At regular intervals they present really nice watches that hold a high level in terms of both design and watchmaking. The collection of watches also spans from higher watchmaking to more accessible wristwatches. They also have a collection of connected and a bit smarter watches that is under continuous development. And now in January they are releasing their third generation connected watch. Eqotime likes both LV and smart watches, so we have of course taken a quick look at the new Tambour Horizon Light Up .

The new Tambour Horizon Light Up is thus the fashion house Louis Vuitton's third generation of connected watches. Every element has been reworked, redesigned and reconstructed to give a new and unique experience. The design has the iconic Tambour shape from earlier models that has thus been freshened up. A nice detail is that the dial's sapphire crystal is lit up by a really cool LED Monogram ring that gives a feeling of an "endless" screen. Despite the size of 44 mm, the design of the screen contributes to the watch not looking especially bulky on the wrist but rather seems to give a more slimmed down impression.

The operating system is developed in-house and the watch is fully compatible with both Apple and Android phones. Ongoing upgrades are also promised, including new dials that will be developed in various design collaborations. Tambour Horizon Light Up will be available in three versions: polished steel, matte black and matte brown. All with an ingenious system to easily be able to swap the strap for any of all the straps included in the Tambour collection.
