The manufacturer's ”Capsule collections” are a way of highlighting Breitling's history and recur across several different productt lines. CEO George Kern comments: “The Capsule Collections let us tell some of our brand’s most inspiring stories while we produce some remarkably unique watches for a limited amount of time.
The collection is limited and is produced only during a shorter period, the watches themselves are however not numbered. The design language mixes a modern functional diver with notes from the 50s and 60s, and what Breitling says is inspired by the surfing culture of the time.
There are a number of variants of the model, all in steel and with a black or blue dial with different details on among other things the indices , and a ceramic bezel. The watch is delivered on a leather strap, NATO strap or mesh bracelet. Here at Eqotime we say hiss! We like it a lot.
