Retro-scented new release from Longines
Longines continues with interesting releases within its Heritage Military series. Most recently announced is their Marine Nationale which is released towards late autumn this year. The model is based on the original from the 40s made for the French navy (which another manufacturer also did later, which we have written about here on Eqotime ).

This model measures larger than the original though and comes in at 38,5mm. Which is a size the manufacturer has been drawn to lately, which the editorial team likes. Another important update is the automatic movement with silicon spring and a power reserve of 64h, something that of course did not exist in the 40s.
