The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch has been given a new dial and this particular version with a white dial is a long-awaited version as the model, has previously been able to be seen on ambassador Daniel Craig's wrist during an Omega exhibition in New York last autumn. Now it is finally launched and available to customers.

An important quality of Speedmaster watches is precisely their easy-to-read dials. Previously the most common model has had a black dial with white hands and indexes, but with the new model it is instead the other way round. It has a lacquered white dial and smart contrasts with clear black hands, indexes and other details. And the whole thing is topped with a red Speedmaster logo that gives an extra touch and the hands as well as the outer part of the indexes of course also have Super-LumiNova that glows deliciously green in the dark.

The new colour combination of white and black is inspired by the astronauts' space suits, particularly those used during space walks. The red accent colour is also taken from this and is found in the form of lines on the suits that represent the commander's rank. There have also been earlier models of the watch with a white dial such as for example the Alaska Project which had an extra substantial protective cover in red.
The case is made of steel and is 42 mm in diameter and 13.18 mm high. It is driven by a manual chronograph, Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, with a power reserve of 50 hours and a water resistance of 50 metres.

This clean and classic Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch is timeless and suits both those who prefer a vintage-inspired steel bracelet and those who prefer a black leather strap with perforated holes for a more retro look. There is also a black rubber strap for a more sporty style. For those who love nerdy details the model also has the famous “Dot over Ninety” on the tachymeter scale.
The new Omega Speedmaster has reference number 310.30.42.50.04.001 with steel bracelet and the price is 106 900 kr.
