Omega has released several novelties, Aqua Terra with a green dial in 38 mm, Planet Ocean 600 M in lovely new colours and Constellation with dials in meteorite. We take a closer look!

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M 38 mm

We start with the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra with a green dial that is now launched in the lovely size 38 mm, thickness 12.2 mm. The watch is in steel and the new size suits most wrists and makes the watch even more accessible. The green colour is not only pleasant but also timeless, and the Aqua Terra model is known for its simplicity and elegance.

The dial has a green PVD coating with a sun-brushed surface and a horizontal teak pattern, which brings to mind the wood details on a beautiful sailing boat. The date display at 6 o'clock is discreet and both hands and indexes are rhodium-plated and filled with Super-LumiNova.

The watch has their automatic movement Master Chronometer caliber 8800 which is also found in their earlier Aqua Terra. The movement has a power reserve of 55 hrs and is water resistant to 150 m.

The watch is offered with two bracelet options: a sporty rubber strap with grey stitching and a folding clasp, perfect for an active lifestyle, as well as an elegant steel bracelet, 3-piece, with a classically polished and brushed surface, which gives the watch a timeless charm.

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M

Omega is also launching a new elegant Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 M in six exclusive versions, available only in their own boutiques.

The Planet Ocean model was introduced back in 2005 and has become a popular diver's watch that honours Omega's fine heritage. For these new models Omega has chosen to work with more subtle colour tones, such as grey, beige and green, which gives them a very elegant look. Each colour comes in two versions, a simpler model showing time and date and one with a chronograph. All the models also have a helium valve placed at 10 o'clock.

The chronograph model is the largest with a size of 45.5 mm and a height of 19 mm, while the smaller model measures 43.50 mm in diameter and 16.2 mm in height. The smaller model is driven by an automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8900, the chronograph has an automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 9900 with a power reserve of 60 hours and is water resistant down to 600 m.

The most elegant is the one with grey colour on the dial, which has been given the clever name ”gunmetal”, and has a smart sandblasted surface and the chronograph's sub-dials have been given a lighter grey shade, and likewise some of the text on the dial is in grey. To this it is smartly combined with indexes and hands that are filled with beige Super-LumiNova which give a warm and fine tone to the grey shade. The case ring is in black brushed ceramic and the whole is topped off with a grey rubber strap with light stitching.

On to the model that is the most delicious of them all if you like a soft and warm shade on your watch. It has a beige tone where the case ring is in a new material called ”silicon nitride ceramic”. It has a smart brushed look in a darker brown-beige shade which is also found on the chronograph pushers. It is a really smart combination and the chronograph's sub-dials are in the same dark brown-beige shade. Hands and indexes are filled with white Super-LumiNova, and in addition some of the text on the dial is in brown colour. A very elegant colour combination that is perfect for the person who likes the beige tone. The rubber strap is also in beige with light stitching.

The last variant has a combination of silver and green that gives it a really fresh look. The dial is in brushed steel where the chronograph's sub-dials have a brushed green surface. And likewise here this one has some of its text on the dial in green and the case ring is in green brushed ceramic. Hands and indexes are filled with white Super-LumiNova.

All models have an open case back that shows the movement and the characteristic seahorse in metal on the sapphire crystal. The Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 M is a well-balanced and elegant watch that suits the person who appreciates subtle colour tones.

Omega Constellation Meteorite

Omega continues to tie the theme to the heavens and has produced unique dials made from the meteorite Muonionalusta, which is probably the oldest meteorite discovery found on earth so far and was discovered in Pajala municipality, Norrbotten County, near the Finnish border in 1906. The advantage of the meteorite is that every dial becomes completely unique thanks to its natural pattern. For these new models of the Constellation they have used an advanced colour technique that offers several different colour options to choose between for each size, a total of 20 models to choose between, with five choices in each size.

The largest model is in the size 41 mm. The meteorite dial for this model comes in the colours grey, blue, green, gold and rosé. Three of the models are in steel where those with grey and green dial have a case ring in ceramic and in the same colour as the dial. The one with a blue dial has a case ring made of titanium, grade 5. These three versions have the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8900. The two last versions are the golden versions, one in Moonshine gold and one in Sedna gold. Both have a Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8901. The power reserve is 60 hrs and they are water resistant to 50 m.

The middle size 29 mm comes in the colours purple, light grey, gold, rosé and dark green. The first in purple is in steel, and the other two are in bicolour, the first in steel and yellow gold, and the second in steel and Sedna gold. They have a Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8700. The two last in yellow gold or Sedna gold have dials in rosé or dark green with a Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8701. The power reserve is 50 hrs and they are water resistant to 50 m. And to top off these beautiful colours they are nicely complemented with diamonds on the dial as well as the case ring. All models also have an open case back.

For smaller wrists there are two good sizes. The first is 28 mm, with dials in the colours grey, blue, green, ice blue and beige. Like the others they are available both in bicolour and in gold. The one that stands out is the one with a fantastic ice blue shade that looks really elegant. Diamonds on the case ring and the dial. All in the size 28 mm have quartz movements.

The smallest but which is also extremely elegant is the size 25 mm. It also comes in steel, bicolour and gold. And just like the larger size it has diamonds on the dial and the case ring which go nicely together with the beautiful colours on the meteorite dials which are in green, purple, light grey, rosé and gold. All have quartz movements.

The new Constellation with meteorite dial is something quite special. This could become a hit since most watches with meteorite dials are normally larger. In this collection there is a range of sizes from deliciously large to more elegant in a smaller size.
