Moonphase Meteorite comes in two versions, both with a 43 mm case (48,6 mm long, 13,6 mm thick) in stainless steel. The dial is made of iron meteorite, where each example gets its unique pattern thanks to the natural structure of the material. The dials are offered with a black PVD coating or a galvanised grey surface.

At 6 o'clock there is a moon phase indicator that shows the phases of the moon as seen from both the northern and the southern hemisphere. The moons are made of genuine lunar meteorite. The background of the moon phase indicator is a rendering of the starry sky over Bienne, Switzerland, on the night Apollo 11 landed on the moon.

The watch is driven by Omega's new manual movement, Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9914. The movement is METAS-certified and has a high tolerance to magnetic fields (up to 15 000 gauss). Through the sapphire crystal on the back of the case you can see the details of the movement.

The functions include a moon phase indicator, a chronograph at 3 o'clock that shows both 60 minutes and 12 hours, as well as a small seconds hand and date indicator at 9 o'clock. The bezel is ceramic, with a tachymeter scale in white enamel.

Moonphase Meteorite comes with a link in stainless steel, which is polished and brushed for a balanced finish. The link is equipped with Omega's patented comfort adjustment system, which means it can easily be adapted for different wrists.

The Swedish list price for the Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Meteorite is 225 900 kronor. With a combination of unique materials and a new movement, this model places itself in the upper price segment of the Speedmaster series.

Moonphase Meteorite is a model that builds further on the history of the Speedmaster, but with additions that make it relevant in a modern context. For more information, visit omegawatches.com.
