Watches and Wonders 2026: Tudor – this year's news
Tudor is making perhaps its most complete update in several years at Watches and Wonders 2026. It is not about a single model, but about the whole range – from dress to diver – where the brand clearly sharpens its identity.
Tudor makes perhaps its most complete update in several years during Watches and Wonders 2026. It is not about a single model, but about the whole breadth – from dress to diver – where the brand clearly sharpens its identity.

Royal – sport and dress in the same movement
Tudor Royal takes a clear step forward in 2026 and becomes more complete than ever. It is not about a single update, but about the model now really covering the whole spectrum of taste and use. The dials come in a wide selection of colours, from classic black and blue to more expressive alternatives such as salmon, burgundy and mother-of-pearl. That allows the Royal to be anything from a strict everyday watch to something considerably more personal.
In terms of size the line is kept consistent with 30, 36 and 40 millimetres, which makes the model work for a broad audience. The case, in steel or steel and yellow gold, combines satin-brushed surfaces with polished details, which gives a clear contrast without feeling overworked. The reworked bezel is central here. The sharply cut, almost knife-like grooves lift the whole expression and give the Royal a more distinct identity than before.
The detail work is also noticeable in the construction. Lugs and end links have been adjusted so as not to sit directly against the case, which reduces wear and gives a more considered fit over time. The integrated bracelet continues to be one of the model's strongest qualities, with wide brushed link pieces in the middle and narrower polished outer links that create a clear rhythm in the design.
Comfort is also in focus. With the T-fit clasp the bracelet can be adjusted quickly and easily, something that becomes increasingly important in a segment where the watch has to work all day. At the same time the classic expression is kept with baton hands and applied indices or Roman numerals, all with generous lume.
The whole makes the Tudor Royal something more than just an option in the entry class. It is a model that deliberately moves between sport and dress, where the variation in executions is one of its greatest strengths.

Monarch – an unexpected comeback
The big surprise is the return of the Tudor Monarch. Here Tudor goes in a completely different direction than Black Bay and Royal.
The Monarch is clearly more classic, almost retro in its expression. A faceted case around 39 mm, champagne-coloured dial and elements of a California dial create a model that feels inspired by older dress watches but with modern proportions and finish. This is not a volume model, but rather a statement. Tudor shows that they can do more than just sports watches.

Black Bay – continued fine-tuning
The Black Bay family continues to be the core of Tudor's offering, and this year's updates are about refinement rather than change.
Black Bay 54 gets a new blue variant that gives the model a more summery and easy-to-wear expression, while the size around 37 mm continues to attract those who want something more proportionate.
Black Bay 58 is developed further with new colours, where a burgundy variant in particular stands out. It ties in with older Tudor references and reinforces the vintage-inspired direction the model builds on.
At the same time Tudor continues to work with material and finish within the Black Bay series, where contrasts between brushed and polished as well as different bezel executions give variation without changing the basic design.

Conclusion
Tudor shows an unusually clear direction in 2026. Instead of focusing on a single icon, they build breadth. Royal covers the everyday, Monarch stands for the more classic and Black Bay continues as the core in the sports segment.
It is a strategic move. Tudor no longer positions itself only as an alternative to Rolex, but as its own brand with several clear identities. And that is perhaps the biggest news of all.
