This week's Timeline brings the art world and elite sports together through two most expressive watch news. Piaget continues its collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation and presents a colorful interpretation of the pop artist's famous self-portrait. At the same time, Audemars Piguet showcases an exclusive Royal Oak developed together with tennis legend Serena Williams.

Piaget Andy Warhol Camouflage Limited Edition
Piaget continues to explore the relationship between art and exclusive watchmaking. The latest creation, Andy Warhol Camouflage Limited Edition, draws inspiration from the artist's famous 1986 camouflage self-portrait. The result is a colorful and very special watch where the dial resembles a work of art rather than a traditional wristwatch.
The connection between Piaget and Andy Warhol is far from an afterthought. Warhol himself was a passionate watch collector and owned no fewer than seven watches from the Swiss brand. Among these was the characteristic reference 15102, with its large, cushion-shaped case, which later became known as Black Tie. In 2024, the model officially bore Andy Warhol's name through a collaboration with the artist's foundation.
The new model builds on this heritage. The dial consists of 27 individually crafted parts in sodalite, turquoise, yellow gold, and rose gold. The combination creates an almost three-dimensional pattern that captures the feel of Warhol's original work. The characteristic case is made of 18-karat white gold and measures 45 by 43 millimeters, with a thickness of only 8.08 millimeters.
Under the case, the automatic caliber 501P1 movement operates with a 40-hour power reserve. The watch comes on a blue alligator leather strap that harmonizes with the dial's color palette. The Piaget Andy Warhol Camouflage is produced in only 86 pieces, a direct reference to the year Warhol created his camouflage self-portraits. The price is stated to be 74,000 Swiss francs.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph Serena Williams
Audemars Piguet has had a close relationship with tennis legend Serena Williams for many years. The collaboration began in 2014 and has now resulted in a special edition of the Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph, where Williams herself was involved in the design.
The result is a model that combines sporty elegance with a significantly softer color palette than we usually associate with the Royal Oak. The case measures 38 millimeters in diameter and is made entirely of white ceramic, a material that offers both high scratch resistance and gives the model a distinctive look. The integrated strap is also made of white ceramic.
The major visual highlight is undoubtedly the pink mother-of-pearl dial. The color is intended to symbolize female strength, intuition, and creativity, qualities that Williams herself has highlighted as important parts of her identity. The two chronograph registers are discreetly integrated into the dial's color palette, while white gold hands and applied hour markers contribute to the overall impression.
Inside, we find Audemars Piguet's automatic caliber 6401, a modern integrated chronograph movement developed entirely in-house. The movement has a 55-hour power reserve and is equipped with a patented vertical clutch that improves the chronograph's function and reliability. The movement can also be viewed through the case's sapphire crystal back.
The model also comes with an extra pink rubber strap that offers a more casual alternative to the integrated ceramic strap. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph Serena Williams, reference 26450CB.OO.1356CB.02, is produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces. The Swiss list price is stated to be 75,700 Swiss francs.
