Tudor continues its partnership with the French navy and now presents a new model aimed at French military aviation. Pelagos FXD GMT is a watch developed for tough environments and is built to meet the needs of French naval aviation, specially designed to be able to follow “Zulu time” – the global time format used to avoid misunderstandings in international flight operations.

Pelagos FXD GMT has a robust 42 mm case in titanium, made to withstand extreme conditions. To highlight its military connection, the caseback is adorned with the logotype of French naval aviation as well as the engraved ”M.N.24” (Marine nationale 2024), a tribute to Tudor's tradition of watches for the French navy's divers.

With its COSC- and METAS-certified movement, MT5652-U, the watch offers advanced precision and is built to be antimagnetic and resistant to interference up to 15 000 gauss. This is a watch that not only follows local time and Zulu time (UTC) but also a third time zone via its rotating 24-hour ring. The orange-coloured hand for Zulu time is easy to read thanks to its clear contrast against the matte black dial, which makes it ideal for pilots and ground personnel.

The green textile strap, produced with Julien Faure on traditional jacquard looms, has been inspired by the green flight uniforms used by French naval aviators. With durability and comfort in focus, the strap complements the FXD GMToverall design and is a reminder of the French fleet's long tradition of handmade bracelets.

With a price tag of 51 300 kronor, Tudor shows once again why they are the first choice for the most demanding professions. Pelagos FXD GMT is a tribute to tradition, precision and innovative design that brings together the best from Tudor's heritage and technical advances.
