The LFA model attracted a lot of interest when Lexus presented it ten years ago and it is their sharpest car ever. But now it's time for a model that goes even further and is equipped with even more modern technology. Lexus' first fully electric supersports car!

Toyota has been late to the game with fully electric models but they were, on the other hand, very early and leading with hybrid technology compared to other car companies. Their strategy has been to hurry slowly, test carefully and this year they present their first fully electric model which has been named bZ4X. It has a new platform and comes in both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. On Lexus' side, they have already launched their first electric car called UX 300e. And the company itself says that by 2030 Lexus will launch a complete model range of battery electric cars. And to show off the best they can produce they have released images and animations of a super sharp electric supersports car that has the absolute most gorgeous design Lexus has ever drawn. So far it's only teaser material but what is shown seems very promising.

They also haven't released any name for the model but figures like 0-100 km/h are only around two seconds but the figure that is really interesting is the total range which according to the company should be around 70 mil. That sounds fantastic and it will be exciting to see in the future if it holds true. The car is said to be equipped with a solid state battery which is a newer type of battery technology that many believe in and which will be the standard in the future. There are more car brands looking at that type of battery and at Toyota/Lexus this is a major research area.
