Breitling is cranking it out nicely! Breitling Premier Bentley Mulliner Limited Edition is here!

Breitling is cranking it out really nicely under the leadership of Georges Kern. Those who were sceptical at the start can probably relax. We on the editorial team are the first to admit that we were doubtful at the beginning of Kern's takeover of the helm at Breitling. The first releases were not convincing. But now it is starting to get going for real. Latest out on the track is a limited edition with the somewhat unwieldy name Premier Bentley Mulliner Limited Edition. But you do get a little worried, don't you? Breitling's collaboration models with Bentley have not exactly been among the best models they have released. But here they actually show who is boss, and no mistake, it is a real beauty!

One of Breitling's absolutely sharpest launches has, at least according to us at Eqotime, been the Premier series. A series of watches where they have really succeeded with both design coolness factor. Now they are following up the pleasant Premier models with a collaboration watch to celebrate their 17-year partnership with Bentley.

The new model Premier Bentley Mulliner has some design elements in common with Bentley's model Continental GT Mulliner Convertible. The idea behind the design is that the wristwatch, with its silver-coloured dial, should connect to the styling of the clock on the dashboard in the Bentley. And it certainly looks to have succeeded, if nothing else it is tremendously good-looking with the same typeface for the numerals on both watches. A small, but oh so important detail.

The Breitling PBM is limited to 1000 examples, houses Breitling's own manufacture movement Caliber 01 with a 70-hour power reserve and has a list price that is unknown today. The tip from the stable is however that it will not be cheap. But regardless of price, we think that Breitling together with Bentley have succeeded with a really pleasant model!
