Relatively seldom is a new watch brand launched that hits right on several points without unnecessary compromises or design mistakes. The newly started Anders & Co manages in its first real release to present an elegant chronograph in a reasonable price class. Eqotime has in collaboration with Anders & Co taken a closer to at the model AC1 Chronograph ”Winter Green”.

Anders & Co is a newly started watch brand with a founder who has long experience of the watch industry and its history.

The AC1 Chronograph captures the spirit of the times with a sensible case size of 38mm which is an excellent balance for a dressy chronograph. The thickness of 11,1mm gives the watch good wrist presence and the case in stainless 316L steel also gives it a little weight which the editorial team appreciates.

The dial on the AC1 Chronograph ”Winter Green” is, as the name tells, in a green tone with a so-called ”sunburst finish”. The dial has applied indexes with Breguet indexes at twelve and six o’clock. The whole gives us a modern take on a watch with a classic design for a chronograph.

The watch is driven by a VK64 which is a proven mechaquartz movement that vouchs for excellent timekeeping and operational reliability.

Apart from the Winter Green, Anders & Co has three other chronograph models in the AC1 series. All with the same specification but different dials and with a price of a sensible 5900kr

As a whole, Anders & Co has managed to present an elegant watch in a good size and with clear inspiration from classic chronographs. The editorial team likes the model, it is exactly what you can expect from a brand in this price class but without any disturbing elements. The proportions feel right and the details such as chronograph pushers and hands and more feel logically shaped and also testify to Anders & Co knowledge of watch history and design which we at Eqotime appreciate.
