Certina is betting on the future and function in its new collection DS-X GMT. A robust and affordable watch developed for you who happily leave the asphalt – but still want to keep track of the time in several time zones. In collaboration with Certina we have taken a closer look at the new releases that launch perfectly ahead of the summer.

Designed for adventure
Certina is launching a completely new collection – DS-X GMT – which clearly addresses the modern adventurer. With its sporty design and practical functions Certina wants to attract everyone who moves beyond the limits of the city.
This is no nostalgia trip, but an innovative model developed to take rough treatment. The case measures 41 mm, is made in stainless steel and has a solid feel on the wrist. The rotating compass ring together with a two-colour GMT rotating ring makes it possible to keep track of up to three time zones – perfect for travel, remote work or just a bit of fun nerdiness.

Technology that can take being used
Inside sits a Swiss quartz movement with Certina's HeavyDrive™ technology which protects the movement against shocks. The watch is water resistant to 200 metres, has a screwed crown and case back and is fitted with Super-LumiNova® for good legibility in the dark.
The DS-X GMT is built to handle both the strains of nature and the demands of everyday life – a toolwatch in the true sense of the word.

Five versions – all with character
The collection consists of five versions. A lively variant with a white dial, a blue rubber bracelet and an orange/blue rotating ring stands out. The others have grey dials with accent colours in green or red, and come either with a matching rubber bracelet or a steel bracelet. The GMT hand always matches the rotating ring which creates a harmonious whole.

Availability and price
The prices start at 6 690 kr for the models with a rubber bracelet and 6 990 kr for the variants with a steel bracelet. The launch takes place globally on 1 July 2025.

Our conclusion
In summary Certina here delivers a toolwatch with a clear purpose – to always be ready. Whether you are planning to cross time zones or just want a reliable companion for the everyday adventure.
